THE best medical professional we have seen (and we have seen lots!) such a wonderful manner and great with my son. Dr Nawaz spoke to him (age 6) rather than me which was so lovely to see. No stone left unturned, genuinely cares, listens and is interested in what I have to say too. Thank you very much Dr Nawaz.

We travelled from Leeds to see Dr Nawaz as we suspected our 16 year old daughter had CFS and there were no private paediatricians in our area that specialised in this. We saw Dr Nawaz on 5/5/18, it was good that we could have a Saturday appointment as we had to travel. Dr Nawaz was great, he listened, was really thorough in his questioning and didn’t rush us. He was able to provide us with a diagnosis there and then and gave us advice and recommendations with regards to the way forward. As my daughters GCSEs were due to start just 4 days later, it was important for us to be able to provide school with evidence of the diagnosis in order that they could put support eg rest breaks etc in place during the exams. Dr Nawaz produced the report and emailed it to me two days later (it was Bank Holiday Monday too) which enabled me to liaise with school and for them to put the support arrangements in place in time for her first exam on the Wednesday. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Nawaz and am very thankful for his help.

Dr nawaz has been fundamental part of my daughters life ever since she was diagnosed with a rare brain condition as a baby. We have found dr nawaz to be someone we can openly discuss her health issues and his insight and expertise in his field is nothing but excellent. He is honest, friendly and thoroughly professional in his work. My daughter is now 5 years old and is developing in to a beautiful young girl with a bright future this would not have been possible with out the support of dr nawaz. We continue to work together to assist in a brighter future for my daughter. He is outstanding!!!

Dr Nawaz has been my son's paediatrician for approximately 3 years (he is now 8 years old). During the time he has been overseeing my son's care, I have been so impressed with his professionalism. My son when younger was described as having 'complex needs' relating to social and developmental delay/hypermobility/speech & lang difficulties/traits for ADHD (for which he is now diagnosed and medicated). Dr Nawaz was very patient in gaining a true understanding of what was going on with my son. He did not rush any decisions or diagnosis, he listened to my concerns as a parent, he respected my views as a parent, never once tried to patronise me, even when I expressed my own observations that were at times different to other professionals. He willingly held professionals meetings at my son's school - I do not know many pediatricians who are prepared to do this, most just expect you to see them in the clinic! Dr Nawaz understood in order to gain a true understanding of my son's needs, he had to meet with the staff in school who are with my son for the majority of the day. At these meetings he asked constructive questions around how staff in school were supporting my son. When my son has his appointments in clinic, I love the fact Dr Nawaz always includes my son - asking my son how he thinks things are going from his perspective. When I look back at the journey my son has had, I am truly thankful that it was Dr Nawaz who was allocated as his paediatrician!
