I would highly recommend Dr Nawaz, he has been so very supportive with our daughter. We first met Dr Nawaz in October and he listens, show compassion, was very professional and understanding. After being in a very dark place while we fought for an answer Dr Nawaz was our light at the end of a very dark tunnel. Once diagnosed Dr Nawaz continued to support us when our local service were unable to, he offered guidance and advice, groups we could join and was always available. We wholeheartedly thank Dr Nawaz for the professional help and advice, for listening, supporting and giving our daughter back the confidence in herself.

I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Nawaz. He’s very knowledgeable about ADHD, he’s patient, caring and really listens. He is not in a rush and gives you the time you need. He’s provided sound advice and has carefully worked with us to find the best medication and signposted us to other support he recommends will assist. He also kindly spoke to our son’s school and provided recommendations for school.

Dr Nawaz has assessed both my children for ADHD. What has struck me is his very carefully considered, measured, approach. He is very approachable, doesn’t talk down to children, explains things perfectly. He is very subtle in the way he observes children while asking them questions. Dr Nawaz is very thorough and didn’t rush to a conclusion with my younger child when it would have been easier to do so. I went to him directly for my younger child precisely because I was so impressed with him. I would strongly recommend Dr Nawaz for a balanced, calm and methodical approach.

Dr Nawaz is excellent. We couldn’t recommend him more highly. He was recommended by the ADHD Foundation and we got an in-person appointment with him at the Liverpool Clinic. He listened intently to myself as a parent and also to my sons. He was very gentle and kind and extremely understanding. One of the best things about him was the way in which he explained things, including the diagnoses and recommendations. He is very knowledgable in neurodiversity in children. He does not rush to medicate and makes practical, useful suggestions. Very interestingly one of my son’s was diagnosed with ADHD and the other wasn’t. He explained exactly why to them and me, in a way I was able to remember and repeat to family and friends. Sadly with little help on the NHS to get my son medication we returned to him via video link and he has started the journey to correct medication.

Dr Nawaz was very knowledgable and professional. Dr Nawaz made my son (9) feel comfortable and able to express his views. He took time to listen to me as his Mum and also explained all of the treatment options in a clear and concise way to help us make a decision. Overall extremely happy with the appointment and care received. Thank you.
