I contacted Dr Nawaz to request an assessment for my son. He was the first person who came to my mind because I had respect for him from previous knowledge of good work he has done in developing ADHD pathways as well as from his being the ADHD Lead for Paediatrics in his NHS work. (I worked in an allied department myself). He responded promptly and patiently to all my queries and reviewed information I sent him. I knew Dr Nawaz had my son's interest at heart. It is a hard decision for me about whether to medicate my son and again, he has been most patient and understanding in responding to all my questions and giving me time to think by cancelling a pre booked appointment.
