I had my pacemaker removed, and new leads and pacemaker inserted at the Princess Royal Hospital on 30th April 2015. Dr Ghasil saw me prior to the operation. He was very approachable and described the operation, the risks and benefits. He was very reassuring.
During the operation which took about one hour and fifteen minutes he kept me informed of everything he was doing. If at any time I felt any discomfort he was able to administer additional local anesthetic. He had an excellent team around him assisting.Throughout the operation he was kind and reassuring.
Post operation he advised me what I should do to ensure that I took great care throughout the healing process.
After the overnight stay he came to see me again to check that everything was OK.
I can only describe my experience with Dr Ghasil as 'PERFECT'.
