Mum has just spent 6 days under Dr Rajagopalan Pradeep’s care. Mum is in her late eighties and had a nasty fall whilst out walking her dog. It left her in so much pain she could not walk and was in shock. During her time in hospital mum was treated with care, consideration and respect as a person not just a patient. Dr Rajagopalan Pradeep listened to mum and throughly investigated the actual symptoms and the potential side effects of the fall. In addition to this Dr Rajagopalan Pradeep checked her medical records (with mum’s consent) in relation to an existing condition that could have been exacerbated by mum’s fall. He has also made arrangements for this to be followed up in 6 weeks time. . Given the COVID-19 restrictions I was not able to see mum so Dr Rajagopalan Pradeep did FaceTime calls with me, in mum’s presence. This allowed mum to see me and for the Dr to explain mum’s condition and actions being taken to help her. This was extremely thoughtful and reassuring for me and other members of the family. Thank you
