I was diagnosed with DCIS following routine mamogram at my local hospital Princess Royal Telford, I was advised I would need a masectomy and that I could have reconstruction surgery at the same time. I was referred to Dr Vidya at New Cross Wolverhampton for this as my local hospital did not offer the reconstruction with implant procedure. Dr Vidya from the first appointment was very reassuring and I felt at ease in her and her teams presence, she explained everything to me clearly and my surgery went well.

Ms Vidya was great. She listened to me and was interested to hear about my symptoms , she then went on to refer me for a Mammogram and Ultrasound which came back clear ( thank goodness). Ms Vidya then saw me after my procedures to assure me all was well and that should I have any further issues to not hesitate in reaching out to her. I felt calm and collected in her presence and she instilled confidence in me regarding her abilities. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her .

I presented Dr Vidya my history of 2 past consultations I had in Greece for an issue that I decided to eventually follow in England where I live. Apparrently I should have been offered a biopsy in the first instance back then. Then she gave me all the information of what would happen on my visit, which was very explanatory and reassuring and Dr Vidya was very professional and also friendly with me. After having all the scanning and imaging done, the histologist did the biopsy and within less than an hour, I was welcomed back to Dr Vidya's office for the follow up talk. She was very thorough with my issue and I felt in excellent hands at all times. Overall it was an excellent experience.
