Dr Qurrat van den Blink was my consultant during my chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions and most importantly after them too. She was always on hand to help (often at all hours) and made the whole process less stressful for me. She was also very sympathetic and empathetic towards my then pregnant wife, which meant a lot to us. Highly recommend Qurrat.

Dr Van Den Blink has been my oncologist for two years,,as I had a cancerous nodule on my lung, she decided to design a coarse of Steriotactic Radiotherapy to treat the infected area, this was carried out at Leicester Royal Infirmary, and the treatment has proved to be successful to date, I suffered no side effects and was supported by my Oncologist throughout, The only inconvenience I suffered was the trip to Leicester as I lived in Wellingborough at the time, but as I was in otherwise good health it was not a problem, it did seem to me that this treatment should be available at Northampton General, as to some the voyage to Leicester is both expensive and difficult.

In the 4 years that I have been under the care of Dr Van Den Blink I have been nothing but happy with care I have been provided with. Firstly the doctor has always had time to talk and answer all the many questions I have, secondly has always talked me and my family through in detail the options available in terms of the treatments when it has been necessary and thirdly and very importantly has always been visible throughout the whole process. I cannot praise this doctor enough for the quality of care she has provided and would totally recommend – thank you

When my husband and I first met Dr van den Blink following my cancer diagnosis she explained in detail what my diagnosis meant. She showed us the scans and explained how and why she had planned my treatment. She was always instantly available by text or phone to answer questions or allay any fears we might have. Nothing was ever too much trouble and her empathy and sense of humour helped make a very difficult situation so much more bearable. We cannot recommend her highly enough. We will be forever grateful.

Dr van den Blink treated me for tonsil and lymph node cancer at the Northampton General Hospital in 2017. I couldn't have wished for a better Oncologist and I'm so grateful for her medical expertise and wonderful, kind, nature. Special thanks to her team too. Everyone was amazing and made a difficult time so much easier. Thank you all! Damian Mellor.
