Dr Pru Knight , at King Rd Medical Surgery , Lancaster, displayed exceptional qualities
When treating my husband who has Alzheimer’s.
She was patient, empathetic and put into place medical agencies that would support my husband. True to her word a nurse was waiting outside our home by the time we returned!
This was the NHS at its best. Thank you Dr.Knight.

Dr Knight is really lovely. The best doc I've ever seen. She listens so well and is thoughtful in her responses. I see there is only three reviews on here, but she's worth about 15,000 five star reviews.

Dr Knight degraded me in front of another member of staff, speaking to me in such a disgusted tone and with such disdain in her eyes, I was made to feel absolutely wretched. The reason? “You are *obese*”.
The words were facts but her expression and tone and looking very pointedly in a prolonged manner at my stomach were absolutely horrible.
This was much worse given I had been told she is the surgery’s mental health specialist; she was fully aware of my considerable difficulties in that area.
It’s the sort of thing they just shrug off; yet it has such a damaging impact, seeing those teeth, that glare, over and over again, it’s stayed with me at vulnerable moments and left me feeling that much worse. And she of course did nothing to seek to change my disgusting obesity, and nothing for the problem itself.

I think it was this Dr that was working at Kendal hospital last night for CHOC. The Dr I saw was lovely, very helpful and professional. She was great with both myself and my daughter (who was ill). She was thorough in her gathering of information and in her examination. She explained everything well and sent us on our way without unnecessary delay.
