Sometimes you meet a medical consultant and from the minute they greet you and start your appointment, you just trust them and know that they are experts in their field and also care. Dr Shah was exactly like this and after 1 consultation I am further forward with getting help than in the years of GP appointments, surgeries and illness leaving me wondering if I am going mad or making a drama out of my symptoms. Whilst I still need investigations doing I am feeling confident that I will get an answer and the right treatment for me as Dr Shah has explained exactly what she is thinking and planning. I feel very in control of my health again thanks to her. Dr Shah and her secretary Barbara are absolutely the right option to take if you are wanting answers, support and care.

I have been under the care of Dr Shah for the past six years having been diagnosed with Lupus and Connective Tissue Disease. During this time Dr Shah has shown amazing empathy, understanding and has always given me time to discuss my problems in full never rushing me which has made me feel totally cared for. I have found it incredibly easy to talk to her as she is an exceptional good listener and explains everything regarding my condition. Her easy manner is a huge asset to her patients. She has set treatment goals that l feel are feasible and have always been of great value. I cant thank her enough for all she has done for me and l have no hesitation in sincerely saying she is a huge asset to the Manchester Foundation Trust in particular and the NHS as a whole.

Just a brief thank you to Dr Shah for diagnosing my symptoms so quickly. I was in so much pain but thanks to the medication I’m on I’m hopefully on the mend. I can’t recommend Dr Shah enough. Professional through out my appointment and also with a follow up conversation to see how I was getting on. Thank you

I have been seeing Dr Shah for a couple of years as I progress with Rheumatoid Arthritis. She has been the most helpful medic I have ever known. Her concern and treatment is second to none. Her manner is very relaxed and she spends time in getting to know how you feel as well as the direct pain concerns. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
