Pramila is very caring, attentive and listens to my concerns, worries and answers then with respect and in real terms. I understand completely my plan of care and am always offered time to ask questions and confirm my understanding. She always gives me adequate time for appointments, I never feel rushed and am treated with respect always.

I am a cancer cancer patient who has recently had a stem transplant. Dr. Pramila was my consultant from the start. As this was a relapse I did not have any hope with any one. After I had my initial treatments I had my second thoughts meeting another doctor to discuss my transplant. I did not have a hope. But on my visit to Dr.Pramila , she manged to change my perception on many things. Dr.Krishnamurthy was so confident, knowledgeable, articulate pros and cons very well , listened to my concerns and more than that she genuinely understood how I exactly felt about the forward plans. Leaving the room that day I had this feeling, that I am in safe hands. With a young family around me that was just what I needed. Dr. Pramila gave me the confidence and understanding. From the time of the Transplant up to now she was always there for me and my family. Promt decisions she had taken whilst I was an inpatient, probably could have saved my life many times. It was so great to see how she heads the other team of doctors and clearly, we saw a good leadership from her. Also Dr.Pramila has been very professional and dealt with all the issues promptly and efficiently. Dr.Pramila is easy to approach and down to earth person. That is one of the best qualities I have seen from some for a long time. I remember one day I was very emotional, tired and in tears. Sitting down in E10 waiting for my turn. Dr.Pramila walked passed me but she immediately stopped and ask how I was. She could have easily ignored me and moved on as she was busy. But full credit to her , for taking me to the side room and finding out the reasons for my distress.

Pramila Krishnamurthy is a very special person and a fabulous Doctor. She has been honest, truthful, caring and very sympathetic during the course of all of my treatment. She always goes that extra distance to make me feel valued and worthy of all the treatments l have had. Me and my wife can never thank her enough for her warmth, her humour and her humanity. She is always patient and nothing is too much trouble and is happy to go over things many times and in different ways until we have understood what is going to happen. We both feel blessed that she was chosen to help us and because of her l am still alive. Definitely no improvement needed !!!!!

the only thing, negative, i can say, about, Pramila, is, sometimes, i have made the effort to get to the appointment, on time, and she will waltz, in half hour past my appointment time, and nothing... if Drs are running late, just let us know..

I first saw Dr Krishnamurthy in January 2017 when she became involved in my AML treatment with a view to my having a stem cell transplant. From the start, she was welcoming and attentive to both me and my wife. She always had time for us, answering all of our questions and never rushing us. She carefully explained the proposed transplant and associated risks. Since January, I have had several extended stays in hospital due to various infections and she was closely involved in my care and treatment. During this difficult time, she regularly visited me, even when other doctors had already been to see me. Once again, she carefully explained what my treatment was and the possible outcomes. She was excellent at keeping us informed about the coordination of my transplant which was complicated by many factors, including my own infections. She is very honest with patients, which can sometimes be hard when you're on the receiving end, but she is aware of this and balances this with a positive outlook.
