Dr Philippa Swayne

A brilliant professional, I experienced no pain, no nausea and no adverse effects following my total knee replacement. I spent one night in hospital when Dr Swayne popped in to visit me twice. I had a general anaesthetic and everything went perfectly. She totally reassured me and I had nothing but a wonderful experience. You are in very safe hands with this beautiful professional.

Dr Swayne was my anaesthetist when I had a total knee replacement at New Hall Hospital in Salisbury earlier in December, and she was absolutely superb. A kind, knowledgeable and highly-experienced doctor, she visited me on several occasions before and after my operation and spent time explaining everything and caringly addressing any queries I had.

Reassuring throughout my knee replacement at New Hall. Clear and confident at the bedside providing the right combination of words and skill to ensure a full recovery. I only wish that I could have met her earlier than the day of my operation as her involvement was a massive plus.

First off I would give this Dr a rating of a million percent :). I have a very very rare medical disorder and Pippa was fab she took really good care of me and made me feel at ease, if I ever had to have surgery again I would want her by my side taking care of me :) Thank you Dr Swayne
