It's been a long time since I've seen a Dr that I feel really listen to you and was interested in you on a human level rather than just going through the motions,how she remains cheerful is a mystery in these days of pratice problems. I only hope I can get to see her in July when I will need to go back.

I have already written about how Dr Parson detected my heart pulse problem and arranged for me to be fitted with a pace maker for which I am extremely grateful. I understand that it is difficult to always have an appointment with the same Doctor and I have found all of the Doctor's to be excellent. I understand that medical history is on computer but It would be useful to have one particular Doctor who really knows you and your medical history so it would be good to be able to consult with that Doctor as a priority. I have noticed that there is a fairly high turnover of Doctors at Glenlyn. It would be good to have a Practice policy to promote younger doctors to an Associate or Partner status so that there is an upward career path to encourage Doctors to stay with the Practice.

Dr Parsons was duty doctor on Wed 28 Oct and immediately responded to an urgent house call to my wife who it was suspected had an infection. Dr Parsons was so proactive in administering help in getting my wife into bed from the bathroom. She took my wife' s blood pressure and made a general examination and made my wife so comfortable and relaxed in such professional hands. Dr Parsons explained everything to me and went back to the surgery and immediately made out a prescription for antibiotics for my wife which I picked up half an hour later. Excellent service throughout. Prompt, efficient, very pleasant and professional manner in everything Dr Parsons did throughout. If I were a woman I would gladly queue up to attend her surgery.

What a great doctor! Very kind and approachable , gave me plenty of time as a patient She was very clued up on her subject and gave me a clear and sensible treatment plan I really felt she had listened to me and that I was getting the very best advice What a super lady can't speak highly enough of her, a real old school caring doctor.
