I have been under Dr Kellys care since he started at Southend hospital, the care and attention i have recieved from him is far superior to any that i have recieved before, with his help i have just about everything under control he treats me like a human being not a name on a piece of paper or on a computor screen. I hope the hospital appreciate what an excellent doctor he is, i have recommended him to several friends who have the same condition as me i hope they are as lucky as me to be able to see him.

I really enjoy my consultations with Dr. Kelly. He always makes me feel relaxed and i feel really comfortable with any questions i need to ask. He always listens to what i have to say and answers anything i am unsure about. Would definitely recommend Dr. Kelly. Amazing Doctor :)

I recently spent some time at Southend Hospital for work experience and I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to shadow Dr Kelly for a couple of days. Dr Kelly has a great bedside manner and communicates so well to his patients making sure they understand everything that is going on. He is very professional and caring, and it was clear to me, even in the small amount of time I spent with Dr Kelly, that his patients trust him completely. I was able to sit in during the clinics that Dr Kelly runs and I saw first-hand how patients rely on the clinics to monitor and control their condition and it offers them a level of consistency. It would be a real shame and loss to the patients if these clinics were to be cut.

I have visited many departments within hospitals with my Sons but had never heard of the Endocrinology Clinic. We had been refered from Great Ormond Street as my Sons carer I found I could fully understand what tests had been suggested and this Doctor made the arrangements for tests to be carried out. At all times I could fully understand what was going on and my Son with a severe learning disability was always at ease. We have never been rushed through a clinic. Test results were all good and we now continue on a simple medication plan. I would have no hesitation in recommending Philip for his caring professional ways.
