Dr Hammond told us we had up to an hour and a half for our consultation so we knew from the start that we would not be rushed. He explained everything in great detail and despite having an older sibling with CFS my daughter and I learned for the first time exactly why she awoke exhausted each day. My daughter was told by Dr Hammond that lazy people never get CFS and this was for her the most positive thing about the consultation as she has been made to feel like a shirker at school. We found Dr Hammond to be friendly, informative, helpful and amusing. His story about Millie's cookies was particularly funny and relevant.
