I can remember being bought one of Dr Phil Hammond's books, Medicine Balls, by my parents when I got into medical school in 2004. While it wasn't on the reading list it certainly should have been! My career took an unexpected turn when I became a doctor involved in the media during the junior doctors contract dispute of 2016. Dr Phil Hammond has been a great mentor and gave lots of his time and advice on dealing with such matters. I am so grateful as it has made all the difference. I recommend him without hesitation.
