Dr Batty was very friendly, professional and thorough in his examination. He took his time to properly assess my condition and asked a lot of questions to help with his diagnoses. He explained clearly all the issues and potential treatments as well as providing his recommendations.

From entering the clinic all personnel were extremely helpful and informative.
Dr Batty listened to my explanation, examined me and then discussed the options of my treatment.
After my examination Dr Batty arranged for me to have a follow up scan within an hour and to discuss the results of future treatment the following day.

Profile
Dr Philip Batty has been involved in elite sports medicine for over 26 years. He worked as the Deputy Club Doctor at Manchester United between 1996 and 1999 combined with positions at the English Institute of Sport and Sedbergh School caring for a range of athletes, both professional and recreational, of all ages and ability. Dr Batty became Head of Sports Medicine at Manchester City Football Club in 2011-2012, in which this was the first year the club won the Premier League. He followed this as Senior Team Doctor for the England Rugby Team from 2012-2014. He is the Team Doctor for Middlesex County Cricket Club and Consultant to the English National Ballet.
His practice includes the use of exercise to manage medical and MSK conditions. Exercise is more effective in the management of many medical and MSK conditions, but he also uses a range of injection techniques when needed.
