Been under the care of PC since being newborn. I can not fault his compassion and care throughout. Always so kind and understanding of needs, and respectful of wishes. Very happy with all care received under PC.

Everything I have experienced at Meadowcroft surgery has been fantastic. From the friendly and helpful reception staff, to the nurses, midwife and doctors - I have nothing but good things to write about. I have been with the surgery for a few years now and in that time have had to use its services a lot; for the pregnancy of my second child in which I was very sick, immunisations, various appointments with both children, and a more serious heath condition of my own last year. The reception staff are always so helpful and in my experience I have never had to wait a massively long time to get through. I have never struggled to get an appointment (not always with the same doctor but I've found all the doctors to be so good that it's never bothered me). I will write about one particular experience in which my Doctor, Dr P Clayton, went above and beyond to provide exceptional service and care. # I had to make an appointment for my 9 month old due to him having an ongoing sick bug. Following telephone consultation the morning I called, Dr Clayton quickly booked us in for an appointment at the surgery that afternoon. Dr Clayton assessed my son and was happy to listen to my many questions - I didn't feel rushed at all. I left the appointment reassured and was advised of what I needed to keep an eye on and to make another appointment if I felt concerned. 2 days later I felt it was necessary to make another appointment for my son as his symptoms were not improving. Dr Clayton was again fantastic and thorough while he assessed my son. My son was prescribed a treatment and Dr Clayton made another appointment for me to bring him back in the following day to be assessed again to ensure he was improving. That evening Dr Clayton phoned me to check in and see how my son was doing - this meant such a lot! Doctors are so busy and I was so grateful that he took the time to call us to check how things were. The next day I took my son to the appointment and thankfully he was improving. Never the less Dr Clayton called again that evening to check how my son was. This was absolutely exceptional care for which I was and continue to be extremely grateful. This is just one of many experiences I have had at Meadowcroft Surgery in which either myself or my children have received exceptional care. Thank you to all the staff at the surgery for all that you do to care for our community.

Dr Phil Clayton is is one of it's one of the best doctors or has time to listen to you when you are down. He is a very considerate and patient doctor. He has recently become the senior partner in Meadowcraft surgery but that does not make him proud as ghe is still very friendly and will give you the time of day to see you. The doctors work long hours and they need more doctors in the surgery to deal with the ever-growing population and the advanced age patients.

5 stars all round! Dr Clayton listens, is very efficient and involves patients in decisions and discussions about their health. My husband and I have both dealt with Dr Clayton in the past few months and are both impressed and very satisfied with the level of care we have received. Thank you

My experience of Dr Clayton is that he delivers an efficient compassionate service despite increased demands on his time . It can’t be easy to continue to do that in the current environment ,with the additional pressures on GPs to meet Government targets and obligations . He works in partnership with patients to achieve the best outcome possible .
