I have, in the past two years, had severe spinal/sciatic problems, a growth in the bladder and, more recently, a burst stomach ulcer. My wife, currently, has problems with a low platelet count. Through all these tribulations and, over the years, many lesser ones Dr Smith has been someone who has dealt with us extremely competently, efficiently and has kept us totally informed. His manner is great - you feel that you have been chatting to a friend.

One of the best GPs we've ever come across (particularly in terms of the care given to our infant son). Genuinely seems to be taking our views into account (e.g. in terms of reluctance to go straight for antibiotics etc).
