In 2013 having just lost my husband & mother I found out I had breast cancer. The only decision I made right at the beginning was if I had radiotherapy I wanted to go to Mount Vernon as this is where my husband is treated years before and so was my mother and brother. This was the best decision I have ever made because it meant my oncologist was Dr Peter Ostler. The first appointment he left us till nearly the last it's gone 6 at night. I had my brother & best friend with me. He was able to clearly explained all the MRI results and blood tests & talked through all the treatment options I had. He has looked after my care for the last 5 years. Unfortunately I have just found out he is relocating & will miss him but wish him all the best for the future.
