I like the fact that my surgery can provide a large range of services, including electronic prescriptions on repeat. However part of patient care is to inform correctly so we can give informed consent to treatment or refusal. If a mistake is made then surely the issue should be readdressed , corrected & an appology given. Not proceed to make it look like a patient is " complaining again " Electronic info is supposed to be used for all medical staff to speed up history taking process, this will not work if there is no info or incorrect info and could of course cause incorrect treatment being given. In general I find the GP services good but poor approach to some illnesses even when test facts clearly define a problem is dangerous.I have had to see several different doctors now as my named GP as broken the doctor trust barrier.
