On Friday 17th July 2015 I sustained a really nasty gash across the knuckle of my left hand index finger-it was down the bone and just over an inch long.The gash was caused by a piece of rusty metal in my garden.Bleeding was profuse as I am on daily WARFARIN tablets.My wife drove me to Bilbrook Medical centre immediately.The reception staff took swift action and I was quickly referred to Dr.Maidment and Sister Sue Gribble as a 'walk-in emergency'.Everything was explained to me as they prepared the wound,and carried out the stitching process.
I suffered no undue discomfort and my treatment was done in a totally professional manner.
My thanks to both of them.
