Simply put, Dr Hughes is the best GP I have ever had. He is willing to listen to all of my concerns, treats me with respect, and gives excellent advice. His knowledge is incredible, and he is always at the forefront of new medicines and treatments. I honestly don't think you'd be able to find a GP who cares more about his patients than Dr Hughes. I hope he never leaves!

Dr Hughes is a very professional, caring, patient and knowledgeable doctor who I trust implicitly. You are given the time to explain all symptoms without being rushed and Dr Hughes always takes the time to explain what is wrong and what medication is needed to get you feeling better once again.

Dr. Hughes has been dealing with an ongoing problem for about 6 months and has sent me for several tests which have all proved to be normal but the problem is still occurring. Today, even though he was fully booked he fitted me in for an appointment and is sending me for different tests he is determined to find out what's wrong. He is really easy to talk to and I never feel rushed when I see him. He is a really good Doctor.

My father has been a patient at the Rowans surgery for many years. I went with dad this week to have an annual check up and review of his medication. Doctor Hughes was very thorough and took the time to explain to dad, who has dementia, how well he is doing and what will/may happen going forward. I feel very confident with all the staff at the surgery and the care my dad receives is exceptionally good.

My husband and myself have been with the Rowans Surgery for many years and have always found all the staff most helpfull and do their best at all times, sometimes under very stressful times,I would recommend any of the doctors. Dr Hughes has always been very kind ,we all know it takes time to get through for appointments and you have to be patient and not be rude to the person who answers your call ,they are doing their best..I also object to having to hear other peoples conversations on their phones,some people have no manners and do not switch off as advised.
