Dr Peter Baker was part of the team who provided excellent care for my wife as part of her surgery for breast cancer earlier this week. He was courteous, very understanding(of my wife's anxiety) informative and basically a very nice bloke. It was evident from the way that my wife recovered after the operation, that he had also done a first class job.

I was feeling nervous about having a general anaesthetic having not had one for over 25 years. Dr Baker visited me before the operation and discussed all my concerns and his knowledge and confidence gave me reassurance. This continued when I was taken to the operating theatre. Dr Baker explained clearly what was going to happen and again gave me confidence that the anaesthetic procedure would be safe and successful. Dr Baker visited me after the operation when I was recovering in my hospital room. He ensured that I felt well and that I had no remaining concerns about the anaesthetic process.

I was in the care of Dr. Baker while in the fitzwilliam hospital peterborough.He came to meet me beforehand and put me at my ease. When i went down to theatre again he made me feel very calm and felt completely safe in his hands. After my operation he came to see me to make sure i was ok.
