Great GP, a lovely person who listens and empathises with patients.
Sadly he's retired.

Dr. Baines is a great doctor. I saw him at a time when I was at my lowest - I begin to feel better almost the moment we begun talking. He has a very good 'bedside manner', he listens and checks that we are in agreement of whatever treatment he has suggested.
I really cannot praise Dr. Baines enough

Understanding, Sympathetic, Modern in approach & encourages me to partake & understand as well as advise with informed choices about my complex clinical condition. He may be not an HIV specialist but is on an advanced learning curve that other GP's have failed to comprehend the demand that this long-term non life threatening issue now places itself heavily on local treatment.
