I saw this doctor after 3 months of visiting GPs and being given a variety of medication without any testing. I had a 3 month long, progressive burning pain in my throat and tongue, head pains, somewhat enlarged tonsils among other symptoms and heath complications. Instead of addressing my actual symptoms this doctor pursued a line of questioning that implied my symptoms were a result of stress and depression. She decided she didn't see anything and at the end of the appointment asked me what I wanted her to do. Shortly after I went to emergency with excruciating pain and then abroad to get immediate healthcare - it turned out I had a severe bacterial infection. It is extremely disappointing to go to a doctor, who, after years of medical school, you expect to have the knowledge or at least sympathy and then them asking you what you want them to do. I am not a healthcare professional - I came to this GP for help and advice and not to self-diagnose myself.
