I have never been made to feel as if I had to rush and there was only had a short appointment window although appreciate that this must be the case. I would like to see information in the waiting room re: how long each patient has with the GP I would like to see figures for the previous month re; missed appointments, and the subsequent cost to the practice. Please also consider charging patients who fail to attend appointments. I am not convinced there are sufficient nurse hours in the practice or that nurse availability is adequate. More info needed for patients on practice drug budgets and cost of outsourced care. I would like to know what oversight the practice has of commissioned care and what performance and quality audits are in place for commissioned care. As a family we are very happy with the care we receive from the practice but would like a little more transparency regarding the motivators for the practice as a business and as a health care provider.

Since the introduction of the new system where I can telephone the surgery and book a call back from a GP Dr Raby has never failed to call me back even somtimes late in the evening. I have never felt that I was being hurried through a consultation. All the staff at the Bishopsteignton surgery have always most helpful.

I was given an appointment in between a busy schedule for what i thought was a concern and doctor Raby soon put my mind at rest and i was relieved by his quick diagnosis. I always find him very pleasant and courteous . A great doctor,

Channel View Surgery, Dr Raby and partners in particular Dr Carly, who provide a caring, compassionate and patient focused service. They listen and responded appropriately. First class response to potential serious problem although they could have waited to see if other symptoms developed. Prompt action has resulted in my receiving first class care across the health service.
