Dr Elgey is everything you want in a GP – welcoming, kind, funny, interested, knowledgeable and he really listens. He also puts you completely at ease – he's informal but respectful, the perfect combination. I really feel like I could go in and tell him anything and I wouldn't feel awkward or embarrassed. He also knows exactly what he's talking about – I went in pretty convinced of what was wrong with me, and he suggested something else I hadn't even considered, and he was absolutely right. The follow up treatment he suggested sorted the problem completely, and permanently. I'm almost reluctant to recommend him because I don't want everyone else booking him up (!), but I always ask to see Dr Elgey now (despite the fact that reception staff always assume as a woman I'll be wanting to see a woman ) and actually look forward to my visits – and I've never said that about the doctors before! Highly recommended – I feel really lucky to have him as my GP.
