Dr. Paul Crowe is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist with private practices in Birmingham and London. He also works in the NHS at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, part of the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust. He has special interests in vascular and urological radiology and uterine artery embolisation for fibroids. He undertakes ultrasound, CT and MRI scanning as well as a wide range of minimally invasive interventional radiology procedures. He has been the leading contributor to the UK Fibroid Embolisation registry and is a founder of the Birmingham Fibroid Clinic. He also has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of pelvic congestion syndrome due to pelvic varicose veins and testicular varicocele embolisation. Dr. Crowe attended Trinity College Medical School in Dublin, graduating in 1988. He has been a consultant at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital since May 1998 and is the Clinical Lead for Interventional Radiology. Dr. Crowe is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) and of the Faculty of Radiologists of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (FFRRCSI) and is a member of the British Society of Interventional Radiology (BSIR), the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe (CIRSE) and The Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR, USA).
