Dr Pasquali has been unreliable and unhelpful in almost all consultations. In recent appointment, she made promises to call back, on what could be quite a serious issue, after a blood test, because a clear blood test would rule out the less serious possibilities. Having previously been told I was severely deficient in a particular metric, she also said she would have my blood tested for that at the same time. The agreement was that if the blood test came back as normal in all metrics, we would discuss next steps, including a investigative procedure. Blood test came back, I was never called or spoken to, I only found out by checking my NHS App for the results. On the less serious note, the check for my deficiency was never run, so she lied about that (the app lists which tests were requested, so I full believe it was her, not the lab, that caused the issue), so I still have no idea if I'm deficient. Secondly, the results came back all clear, so the simple answers to my issue were ruled out. As per our agreement, she was meant to call the the next week. Knowing surgeries are busy at the moment, I gave an additional 2 weeks, and still heard nothing. I call the surgery, and the receptionist insisted that if the blood work was clean, I wouldn't be contacted, so she wouldn't have told me she would call me. I asked if I can speak with the doctor, and I was told she would call me if she got time. I haven't heard since, and have been looking at going privately instead to deal with this. My more recent interaction was with an issue I have had most of my life. It flares up every few months, is quite painful, and have never been able to get an appointment to see a doctor when it has flared up, due to the short timeframe it is present, and limited availability of GP appointments. I finally had the opportunity to make an appointment this year, but I was only allowed a phone appointment, not a face-to-face appointment, so I couldn't show the actual problem, and I find it hard to describe, as I'm not able to easily see the affected area directly, even with a mirror. Despite explaining that I have suffered for most of my life, I was told "call back if it comes back, and we will try a swab", despite it coming back continuously every few months. The other solution I was offered was to get a prescription for antibiotics, despite her not actually knowing if it was bacterial, which would be ready in 5 days. I declined this, as a waste of time, considering the condition only lasts about 5 days on average, and it was already day 2, as I was unable to get an appointment on day 1. I had also mentioned that my normal pain relief isn't as effective, and she said "I'm sure it will be fine". I pushed and asked for a swab now, because this isn't the first time, and I don't want to wait and risk not being able to get an appointment again, which she reluctantly agreed to. The nurse that took the swap said that the area looks incredibly scarred, and was a bit concerned. After relaying the nurses' concern to a different friend nurse, he suggested I go to Corby Urgent Care Centre, advice I took. The doctor there said that this should never have been a phone appointment, and the swap should have been the first thing offered, and said that would be the thing they would do first, so wait for the results to come back, so it was lucky I pushed for it. After a few days, I got the results of the swab back (via NHS App again), and it was all clear, once again not identifying the problem. I still have not heard back, as I was promised. It appears as if Dr Pasquali just wants to you go away and not bother her, doesn't follow up on promises and has zero intention of finding the root of your problem. After these interactions, I feel as if making appointments with Dr Pasquali is a waste of my time, and I have stopped bothering trying to get help from them.

My son has severe learning difficulties and a variety of health issues. He has been in lockdown for months now and during that time has had ongoing issues requiring treatment from our GPs. Due to covid and the restrictions that had to be put in place I was worried about how it would affect him being able to access the help that he needed. I needn’t have worried though, dr Pasquali has been amazing. Telephone and online aren’t ideal but it worked really well. Thank you dr Pasquali
