I attended Bristol eye hospital on 10th August 2016. As you can imagine anything to do with your eyes can be a scary and daunting experience. Especially surgery. Dr Choleva came to my bed before surgery, took the time to ask me questions, explain the procedure and kept me really calm possibly without knowing. She made me feel at ease and because of her kind manor I felt confident. My nerves eased. She performed my surgery so was there before I was given my anesthetic. Once I'd come around she was at my bedside helping with the results. I needed sutures after the op which is very daunting, again Dr Choleva was gentle, kind and caring.
