I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Leventis last week, I found her approach and manor very reassuring, she listened to my concerns and came up with valuable and realistic advice. She was genuinely interested in me as a patient and gave me time to explain my concerns and worries. I have seen other consultants for my RA and have found them to be dismissive and uninterested; which is why this consultation meant so much to me I felt like I really mattered and that my best interests were being considered. I saw Dr Leventis on several occasions at St Helier Hospital. From the first time I met her she put me at ease and explained my condition clearly in language I could understand. She is a very kind, considerate and charming lady and I had every confidence in her diagnosis and the treatment she arranged for me. Dr Leventis listened to my worries and put me at ease. I was very sad when she left St Helier. I would like to thank her for her caring and devotion to her patients, particularly to me, and I wish her every success in the future. Thank you Dr Leventis.

This doctor is very caring and listens to you when you are speaking. I have seen her twice now and I'm very impressed. The only downside would be, I don't think she has the resorses and support that she needs from the NHS. I think that she would like to work quickly and efficiently but the NHS doesn't do faster than slow most of the time.
