Rude, cold, didn't listen. Ultimately mis-diagnosed me. Appeared more worried about 'NHS costs' and the air temperature in the room than anything I was saying.
His 'follow up letter' also contained all the depth of a puddle. Ironically, had heard this guy was poor, but went into it determined for him to prove me wrong. He did the opposite.
Take anything he says with a pinch of salt, as a more empathetic, interested Dr eventually diagnosed me correctly - completely contrary to anything he said.
'Migraines' - the answer to anything he can't be bothered looking into properly.
AS far as he was concerned i was costing the NHS to much money in test and was in need of a Shrink. I in fact had knackere discs in my neck the last scan i had resulted in a diagnoses of Spinal stenosis he also failed to spot i had most likely had Tia which was not spoted by him or two other neurlogists. He just wanted rid of me. I have not bothered the NHS since and am not costing them anythign unlike the rather fat people who are costing the NHS thousands.
Ask for a second opinion by your G.P., for everything this man tells you. my wife's seizures have tripled with his constant changing of medications. A more rude doctor you will be hard to find who refuses to listen to the patient, carer or G,P, .
I have seen Dr. Jack on several occasions and have found him Pleasant, Understanding, Supportive and nothing other than professional.
I have no idea why there are so many negative comments. IMHO it's the patients that are the problem not the Doctor..........just saying!
I saw Dr Jack at the Ayr Hospital.
He was most polite and courteous. My examination was thorough and he arranged follow up investigations.
A very soft spoken man which may go some way to explaining some the -ve comments. I did ask him to repeat a few questions and he did so without any fuss.
If required, I would see him again.
