I was admitted with a suspected heart attack in July 2017. Blood tests and symptoms seemed to indicate that diagnosis. Dr Dhillon came to see me the next morning and discussed my condition with me. He listened very carefully to what I had to say and as a result decided to carry out an angiogram and echocardiogram at Broomfield rather than send me to Basildon. Following these procedures he diagnosed Takotsubo cardiomyopathy; a syndrome that mimics a heart attack but is in many cases temporary and reversible. I felt that he treated me as an individual and went out of his way to help me. I was very impressed with his professionalism and that of his team.
