I am very sad to say that this Dr. failed me in my own care at her hospital. After being prescribed a dose of Orlanzapine 20mg daily, she verbally instructed me that it would be OK to take 25mg of this medication as and when required. On discharge I read my notes and this instruction was missing so I looked a little deeper and to my horror found that 25mg daily is actually a toxic dose. Being labelled now I find myself in the uncomfortable position of knowing this truth but as with all things not being believed. I have resolved this for myself by sending my GP a note for my files to never be assessed or under this Drs care again (we are allowed to do that) and am happy to say that today I am at peace with it however I do feel that it was against her own hipocratic oath to Do No Harm. I pray and hope that this was a one off and not a habit of this doctor. Trust is so very important when dealing with people who we are supposed to see as having our best interests and care at heart. It also makes me appreciate Good Psychiartrists and their calling to help.

She failed to spot comorbid severe depression and autism. Instead misdiagnosing me with a personality disorder. This lead to 7 years of inappropriate treatment

She seems to be unaware of how neuro divergence such as autism may impact presentation and is too quick to diagnose personality disorder in such cases.

An outstanding Doctor in every way. She has given me not only my life back but the desire to live that life and be the best I can be. She has amazing energy and passion, this is not just a job for her but a genuine desire to really help all her patients . Nothing is ever too much for her. She also has an impressive team who could not get better training than from her.

Dr Tsatalou has treated me on several admissions and has always been comprehensive in the care she has provided. She is understanding and knowledgeable and manages a difficult set of patients very well. I would highly recommend her. She has always got me back to health following very difficult episodes of illness.
