I have mixed feelings about Dr. Akanuma. I met with her just a couple of times for assessment. She does listen very well and seems to want to help, and I felt taken seriously, but she keeps missing contact appointments and keeps delaying. My gut feeling says she is ok, but missing, delaying or postponing contact appointments seems to me like wanting to avoid issues, as I am seeking adequate therapy.
