I have worked with many consultants over many years and I can honestly say that Dr Naqvi is outstanding. She is very caring and also importantly very knowledgeable about her speciality. She will always go the extra mile for her patients. Her patients are very lucky to have her as their consultant.

We have known Dr Naqvi since our son had an operation at 11 months old. Since then our son has been treated by the Royal Brompton and we moved to the care of Dr Naqvi when she established the Marfan clinic. Like all staff at the Royal Brompton we have found her to be caring and compassionate, someone who listens and acknowledges your concerns as a parent, and someone who is proactive and always willing to help. Dr Naqvi is very approachable - none of our worries are ever dismissed and she is always willing to go the extra mile. We recently received a letter from her (unprompted) letting us know she had discussed our son's case at an international conference with international experts to get their input. The amount of reassurance this gave us as parents was tremendous. To know you remain "on the radar" even when there is no appointment in the near future just underlines how hard Dr Naqvi works to ensure you are getting the very best possible treatment. I would recommend her highly to anyone who is fortunate enough to come across her.
