I was seen at Grantham Hospital Out of Hours on Boxing Day. I explained that I have had tonsillitis many times and believed I had it again. Dr Whitfield told me there was nothing wrong with me and she could see nothing. I then had to wait 2 days to see my own gp. Who said I now have 'rip roaring' tonsillitis. This has been the worst case I have ever had to deal with in my life and I believe had I really been examined or my notes properly looked at that I wouldn't be in the state I am today being unable to eat or drink without great discomfort.

Dr Whitfield examined,listened and responded to my concerns and agreed a course of action with me, I would prefer to be seen by her than other resident doctors.
