This doctor has moved back to Ireland but I did see him as a patient and he has such a wonderful sense of humour and a great doctor. Do miss him. Sad that he’s gone but there is other great doctors still there, you just have to find one and hopefully stick with them.

Dr Murphy ignored MHRA guidelines and changed my epilepsy medication to a generic brand without consulting me. When I queried with the pharmacy and prescriptions desk, he wrote the the epilepsy nurse to seek further advice, again, without consultation. I was not informed he had even done so. I did request an appointment with him to discuss but was told that would have to wait until the epilepsy nurse had responded. I am not impressed with his actions at all and am going to request that he have no involvement with my medical records or prescriptions going forward.

Don't think he listened for long enough to understand the gravity of the situation. Just fobbed us off.

Caring and thorough. I felt like Dr Murphy listened to my ailments and suggested the best course of treatment. He was also quite cheerful when some other Doctors are dour, made a nice change.
