Dr Sharif is the best doctor I have ever had. She always took the time to listen to me and never made me feel I was wasting her time. She was patient and kind and very professional always. I always felt that she would do her best to treat me and I was always referred to a specialist when necessary. I was particularly impressed when seeing her one time, when in passing I said my heart had been racing all night which I had put down to anxiety. She checked me out and said it was because I had an infected tooth and mouth for which I was waiting for treatment from the dentist. She said I had a very rapid heartbeat and immediately prescribed antibiotics. I was so grateful as I had been feeling very unwell. The infection cleared up, I had the tooth out, and have not had any more problems. Another time I was experiencing flashing lights in my eyes for a week, I saw Dr Sharif who said I must go that day to the emergency eye dept at St Heliers, she telephoned the hospital for me too. Luckily it was not Retinal Detachment as we feared but it could have been and my eyesight would have been at risk. So thank you doctor, I am so sorry you are leaving.

she undertook to visit me on a home visit on my discharge from hospital she was caring & understanding I trusted her judgement on the required treatment I am 94 years this means a great deal to me
