I have seen Dr Sivakumaran for 10 years now, since my diagnosis. He has always been very thorough and takes interest in my well being. He is also approachable and I am able to ask questions relating to my treatment. He has time for me and is polite and patient.

Doctor "Siva" has treated my wife Judy Cotton, for Leukemia, during the past seven years. He is the epitome of a caring, professional Doctor both my wife primarily, and myself owe him and his staff an enormous debt of gratitude for his concern and attention to her condition. Long may he continue " Thanks Doc "

I am a 68 year old, retired, special needs teacher and have had Chronic Myeloid Leukemia for 9 years. Dr Sivakumaran has been my Consultant from day one. During this period he has not only been exceptional with his clinical care but has shown tremendous empathy for all of my concerns (rational or irrational). He also encourages me to continue to exercise regularly and always have walking trips to look forward to. He then organises my hospital visits around these trips. He is an exceptional consultant in that he cares for me as a whole person and not just my CML. He has turned a life threatening condition into a managed one and I cannot thank him enough. If you couple his care with my knowledge that, Caroline Thornbury (McMillan Nurse) is always available, is is the ward, then I could not have had better care in an expensive Swiss Clinic. Thank You - Jenny Bambridge

I have always found that when visiting, this out-patient department has been efficient and thoroughly professional.

Dr Siva gave me the most amazing and unexpected news. I was discharged after being told this would never happen! He was with me every step of my difficult hospitalisation and whilst sometimes not appearing to be the chattiest of people, his skill cannot be denied.
