Mo is very kind, friendly and professional. He was amazing with our daughter. He went above and beyond in terms of care provided. He always puts the patient’s needs first and asked if there was anything else we required too. He kept us up to date with our daughters results and always makes time for us. Definitely an asset to the Hospital and NHS. We are always happy with the service/ care he provides.

Doctor Muhuntha or Mo as we call him has been the Consultant for our 7 month old daughter while on ICU at Sheffield Children's Hospital. Mo has always been open and honest with us about the treatment for our little girl and the risks involved. To make sure we fully understand what's happening Mo has always explained the drugs our daughter has had to be on, the procedures she's had to have done and generally kept us up to date. Mo is friendly, honest, approachable, informative and great at answering our many questions.

We received honest advice from dr muhuntha from the first time of meeting him on the current situation we was facing with our Daughter. Not only was there guidance on what was happening but also in depth discussions on what different difficult choices we could make on her behalf.

Doctor Muhuntha or as I know him - Mo, had been the Consultant for my 7 month old daughter Mara, at Edinburgh ICU sick kids On numerous occasions during her prolonged stay. Initially Baby Mara was extremely poorly and required a multitude of drugs to stabilise and improve her rapidly deteriorating condition. Having sat and listened to Mo instruct his to be administered drug programme to the junior doctors + nurses, you could see that he was Very experienced and didn’t dither at any point and Baby Maras condition thankfully stabilised and improved. Mo would routinely be coming up to Maras nurse for updates and he would tweak drugs + ventilator settings on regular basis. This attention to detail was great. Oh and Mo would keep you up to date with his plan and he was always proactively chasing up other departments for tests/scans/potential remedial surgery. I like how he always kept me and my wife in the loop. Mo as a person is very approachable and he encourages you to ask him any questions of concern. He is a likeable person and I am thankful for his crucial help for baby Mara
