Dr Ottayil is a great consultant. He cared for my daughter from when she was a tiny baby until three years old. Supporting us through different tests and investigations into neurological issues. We are now pleased all is fine so we can be discharged. We would definitely recommend this knowledgeable ans caring consultant to anyone who needs care for their child.

We found Dr Ottayil exceptional. Calm, relaxed, attentive and knowledgeable. He was gentle and receptive with our 8 year old daughter. Totally reassuring and a pleasure to see. Took all his time and made our consultation thoroughly reassuring. Our daughter felt comfortable when we left and this has helped us address her condition enormously. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr Ottayil to anyone.

Dr Otttayil has been our foster daughters consultant since she was born, she has lived with us for over 9 years. We have seen Dr Ottayil approximately 3 times a year as well as additional appointments if needed. During this time we have felt fully supported by his care and expertise, he has kept our little girls epilepsy controlled as best as it can be over the years. We have at times had a difficult journey due to the fact that our little girl is in care and he has remained fair and professional at all times, with our little girls health and well being at the centre of all decisions he has made. The entire team at Broomfield have been wonderful, they are efficient and caring and it’s always a pleasure to see everyone there. It has been a pleasure working with Dr Ottayil, we have always felt well looked after and would like to thank him for all his hard work and dedication over the years.

Dr Ottayil is a calming, respectful doctor who I’ve seen since the age of 5 and has listened to my problems every time. His persona when you enter the room brings happy tears to your face with smiles too. Every appointment I’ve been to he has always made the time with appointments sometimes lasting an hour or more than expected which is how it should be within the NHS. and he generally makes sure your okay before your leaving his room. So from me to you… the best of wishes and the best of luck. You’ll never be forgotten or replaced by any one better. Maddie x
