Mr Sharafat was my anaesthetist on Saturday 17 June, when I had a shoulder capsular release. Although I was very anxious at first when he was trying to administer the pain block it was eventually decided I would have a general anaesthetic.He was very reassuring and explained everything to me both pre and post op. Dr. Sharafat was my anaesthetist at the Fitzwilliam hospital for my partial knee replacement. I underwent a hip replacement at Fitzwilliam Hospital on 28th November 2022. From admission to discharge the experience was a very positive one and I thank everyone involved for their work and care. Dr Sharafat from the first time I met him on the day of my operation instilled total confidence and gave me a feeling that I am in safe hands.. I elected for spinal block. So during my operation he was beside me constantly and very reassuring. His team work with the other medical staff and also sense of humour shone during my procedure and helped to relax me… words don’t seem enough but I do truly thank you Dr for your expertise and reassurance.
