Dr Elabassy immediately made me feel at ease, and confident. He is a lovely man! He made me smile, found out things about me, and was extremely professional whilst being very warm. I would highly recommend him

I attended my appointment with Dr Mosheir Elabassy at The Spire Hospital in Leicester in February 2022. He displayed a caring professional approach and is evidently highly experienced and an expert in his field. He was extremely polite, discussed the procedures he recommended, requested consent to proceed with the procedures and explained everything very carefully during the procedures. I could not fault his manner or his professional approach in any way. I would not hesitate to recommend him. I have been treated by many specialists in the past and my view is that Dr Mosheir Elabassy is a Consultant Radiologist of the highest caliber.

I went for an abdominal and internal scan and was very anxious. Dr Elabassy was very reassuring. He was very gentle with the scan and kept my discomfort to a minimum.

I saw Dr Elabassy at the spire hospital leicester. I was undergoing a procedure in a very personal location. He talked to me throughout explaining everything he was doing and why. He put me at so much ease in a procedure where I could of felt so vulnerable. Him and his support staff were incredible. Hopefully I never have to have the procedure again but if I do I will certainly be asking for him and his team again.

I am a Consultant Radiologist specialising in Body Imaging, mainly abdominal and pelvic diseases using MRI, CT, Ultrasound and X-Ray.
I am also experienced in Interventional Radiology and carry out a wide range of procedures including, biopsies, fluid drainage, biliary and urological procedures, stents and feeding tubes.
I carry out assessment and adjustment of gastric bands and other bariatric procedures.
Having worked for 19 years as a Consultant Radiologist in one of the biggest teaching trusts in the UK, University Hospitals of Leicester, you could say I have excellent experience.
I am a core member of the Multidisciplinary Teams for liver, pancreas, colon, small bowel and gynaecology, with some excellent consultants and nurses of all specialities.
I am passionate about my profession and will do the best I can every day to give the right diagnosis and honest advice.
