Although I had only booked a standard appointment slot to see Dr. Vloemans, she took her time with me, effectively extending the appointment. Dr. Vloemans allowed me to explain in detail the problem I had, and took time to ensure that I understood the treatment options available to me. She was particularly considerate and conscientious when explaining the likelihood that I would need to continue taking medication for some time. I valued this because it was not something I had come to terms with, and was therefore difficult to hear. Dr. Vloemans acknowledged this and did her best to ensure that I felt comfortable before I left the appointment.
