We couldn't have chosen a lovelier psychiatrist if we tried. My 14 year old son has not talked to anyone for a year and suffers from anxiety depression and social phobia. He had shut everyone out and believed no-one could help or understand him. After months and months of waiting for camhs to offer my son an assessment we were so desperate to get my son diagnosed and offered the right treatment we decided to pay for a private consultation with psychiatry uk. My son was very anxious to speak to Dr. Shaha but she was so warm, non-judgemental and understanding that she soon coaxed him gently to share his feelings and she was able to reach a diagnosis. Amazing in itself. Nothing was too much trouble for Dr. Shaha and her empathy was humbling. I am so grateful to her for so genuinely caring about my son's mental health. It has given us some hope that with some work we can get his life back on track
