It’s with sadness that I write this review for Dr Chanda – I’ve always hoped that somewhere in there she has the ability to be different, show a level of kindness and now I accept, it’s not to be. After each appointment I feel somewhat disappointed and battered with the experience. I find her very condescending and she really needs to work on her “bedside manner”. During an appointment with a pharmacist (who was then attached to the surgery) she disclosed that Dr Chanda had said to her “I’ve had a word” – code for she’d basically had a go at me, and she had. She lacks understanding and empathy, shaming someone into complying with her instructions – it’s not what I expect from a GP. Appointments feel like you’re in front of a Head Teacher not someone in a caring role. I have made the decision that my next appointment at the surgery will be with another GP.
