Dr. El-Emam graduated from Alexandria University School of Medicine, Egypt in 2005. He has since worked in various teaching and district general London based hospitals, covering all major specialties including General Surgery, General Medicine, Respiratory Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Accident and Emergency, Cardiology, Care of the Elderly Medicine, Psychiatry and Trauma and Orthopaedics. He completed the highly competitive 4-year General Practice training programme in 2013 from the highly prestigious London Deanery. Dr. El-Emam has gained unparalleled experience from such a wide variety of clinical practice and from working with some of the best UK based consultants. Having worked for DOCTORCALL, the largest provider of Private GP Home visits in the UK, he has gained extensive on call experience in the Private sector. With his base in central London and attendance at regular Harley Street clinical meetings, Dr. El-Emam has formed fantastic relationships with some of the best specialists and hospitals in London. Dr. El-Emam currently practices in the Urgent care center in Royal Free Hospitals, and BUPA healthcare. He is a native speaker of English and Arabic, as well as being semi-fluent in Spanish. This allows him to communicate effectively with patients, a crucial part of involving them in their care. He believes strongly in the patient centered approach to consultations, and the significance of evidence based medicine in today's fast moving medical field.
