A combination of being so measured and reassuring at the same time and his ability to translate his knowledge to everyday terms for us, the patient. In my situation, he went out of his way to make sure that the care I received in the community was amazing and called me several times to ensure I did not forget the different medical regimes I needed to take. I think he might be embarrassed by reviews so I am choosing to be anonymous but felt obliged to write this review.

Dr Behan’s manner and professionalism was exemplary throughout my diagnosis and treatment of an acute cardiac event. He was calm, considerate and reassuring, explained everything related to my condition and the short- and long-term management thereof to ensure I understood, and did an amazing job with the cardiac angioplasty itself. During what was naturally an anxious episode of my life he was able to inspire confidence and trust in his abilities, and more than lived up to his name as a renowned interventional cardiologist.
