I saw Doctor Sproat in November 2023 at the Millenium Promenade Bristol . He was very thorough .Obviously very knowledgeable. Very good listener and compassionate. It was reassuring not to be treated as another NHS number and feel like you are on a conveyor belt. Cant improve on 100% can one? I was very impressed and I am not easily so. GL

My name is Ruth, I saw Dr M Sproat today at Wells road surgery Totterdown/Knowle. I had not seen Dr Sproat for some years however, he said to me I've seen you before. I recognised him too. What a kind and caring man. Dr Sproat took time to listen to my concerns and together looked in a photo manual to come to the correct description of the problem with my leg. Dr Sproat looked up my notes and took his time reading them out loud so we could confere. Dr Sproat was so kind, caring and thorough and took his time to come to a conclusion with me. I came away feeling very special. Thank you Dr Sproat

Dr Michael sproat was my doctor for years, he's trustworthy, reliable, his bedside manor is impeccable and he couldn't ever do enough for each patient too, he always listened and actually cared about everyone too, since he's left my doctors practice in Downend Bristol it's not been the same at all, I totally understand why he left and I genuinely wish him all the best for the future because he deserves it, I will never forget what he did for me and my family, it is a great loss to us that he's no longer our doctor, and he also waited till I had an appointment with him to tell me face to face he was leaving and me and my husband were devistated to say the least, but again totally understand and really do wish him and his family all the best, ANY surgery who are lucky enough to have him at there practice I hope they know just how lucky they are to have him, he genuinely cares for each and every person and will always try his best to get to the root of your problems and help each person the best he can and he doesn't just give up and tell the patient it's in there heads he keeps going to find each person a cure, diagnosis and or an answer to there problem, sorry for the long review but I could keep going all night I really can't say enough great things about this doctor!!
